to nuno_central ! Nuno Bettencourt, former guitarist
of Extreme, is now riding high as an artist in his own right. His
solo debut came in the form of 'Schizophonic' - fifteen very varied songs
- hence the name. December 1998 saw the release of his next album,
the self titled 'Mourning Widows'. Nuno continues to push back the
boundaries of his own definite song writing style and guitar technique
with 'Mourning Widows' being a blend of funky, bone crunching riffs with
lots of vocal twists. June 2000 saw the release of Mourning
Widow's second CD, "Furnished Souls For Rent". Again the
same hard and funky style is present, but it is easy to see how the band
has developed and grown with the addition of drummer Jeff Consi. This site makes use of a font called 'Dungeon'. The site is designed around this font so you should download and install this font on your machine to get the best from this site.
